History

C & M Oil Co. Inc. has done it all -- including fuel transport and engine repair -- since 1950. We are now celebrating 70 years of operation in Bessemer, with a second repair facility in Ironwood. Founded by Pete Carpenedo and George Mussatti, the business bears the original owners' name in C & M Oil Co. Inc. Jim Carpenedo now co-owns the business with his sister, Dee.

Service

Office manager Chelle Groom sums things up when she says: “My boss has been working on old tractors longer than he wants to admit. He’s an old-time businessman with old fashioned values and community commitment. He’s been working on equipment for 50 years; there’s not much he hasn’t seen when it comes to a motor." Although we have years of knowledge, we are not old-fashioned in technology. Our tools include a state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic system from Snap-On Tools for most vehicles, including Large trucks. Our business can service just about anything that needs gasoline or diesel to function. Tires

C&M Oil is the largest Firestone/Bridgestone dealer in the Western Upper Peninsula. Our full service tire shop sells and installs sizes that range from passenger car, all the way up to commercial and large tractor.
